Bronze, gegossen, patiniert. Der dem Betrachter entgegenblickende Satyrkopf rückwärtig mittels Eisenstift in eine sekundäre Holzstellage eingelassen. Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren.
Expertise:
Ein Gutachten von Giancarlo Gentilini und David Lucidi, Florenz vom 10. Mai 2010 liegt in Kopie vor. In diesem wird auf einen ähnlichen Kopf im Kunsthistorischen Museum in Wien hingewiesen. Ein weiterer im Museum der schönen Künste in Budapest wird mit traditionell mit Alfonso Alberghetti in Verbindung gebracht, welcher wiederum Teil einer bekannten venezianischen Gießerfamilie war und zwischen 1559 - 1585 belegt ist.
