In Ton gefertigt, weiß-blau und im Früchtekranz polychrom glasiert.
Die Tradition der Della Robbia-Werkstatt, benannt nach der Bildhauerfamilie in Florenz, wirkte vom 15. Jahrhundert noch bis ins 19. Jahrhundert nach. Hochreliefs dieser Art waren, und sind bis heute, an Gebäuden oder Mauern eingelassene Andachtsbilder von höchster künstlerischer Ausdruckskraft. Hier wird eine sitzende Madonna gezeigt, im rechten Arm das Kind, weiß glasiert vor blauem rundbogigem Hintergrund, auf einem weiß-blau glasiertem Sockel mit geflügeltem Engelskopf zwischen Füllhörnern mit Flammen. Im umziehenden Blattkranz polychrom glasierte Früchte. Der Figurentypus geht hauptsächlich auf Vorbilder des Andrea della Robbia (1435-1525) zurück. Einige gekittete Risse. (1131484) (2) (11)
