dokumentiert als in Neapel zwischen 1606 und 1615 tätig, zug.
Der Maler ist erst in den letzten Jahrzehnten durch die Stilistik seiner Werke zu Bekanntheit gekommen. Seine Arbeiten wurden früher Scipione Compagno (um 1624-um 1680) oder Filippo d'Angeli (um 1589-1629) zugeschrieben. Sein Stil lässt Einflüsse von Tintoretto (1518-1594) erkennen, was nahelegt, dass er in Norditalien wirkte, bevor er nach Neapel kam.

This painter has only become known in the past decades due to the style of his works. His works were previously attributed to Scipione Compagno (ca. 1624 - ca. 1680) or Filippo d'Angeli (ca. 1589 - 1629). His style shows influences by Tintoretto (1518 - 1594), which suggests that he was active in the North of Italy before relocating to Naples.
