Athena wacht über den Herkulesknaben, der soeben zwei Schlangen erwürgt. Bildaufbau in kühner Komposition mit meisterhaft gelungenen Verkürzungen und ebenso qualitätvoller Wiedergabe der Figuren. Die Farbtrias Blau, Weiß und Rot dominieren hier im Bild, komplementär kontrastiert zum Gold-Braun im Tuch der geharnischten Göttin Athena. Rechts im Hintergrund die Göttin Hekate. Das Gemälde wohl Teil einer ehemaligen Schlossausstattung, Mitte 18. Jahrhundert. (1120586) (11)
