Biblische Szene nach dem Evangelientext des Johannes, in der Jesus die Worte "Berühre mich nicht" an Magdalena richtet, nachdem er wiederauferstanden war. Die Szene in eine abendliche Landschaft gesetzt, in den Wolken schwebende Putten, am rechten Bildrand ein von Engeln bewachter Sarkophag. Komposition und Bildauffassung beeinflusst u.a. durch ein Werk von Antonio Allegri Correggio (1489-1534) um 1518 und anderen Meistern. Auch bei Alonso Cano (1601-1667) finden wir um 1640 eine ähnliche Bildauffassung. Regelmäßig wird Jesus unter einem Baum dargestellt, Magdalena davor kniend wiedergegeben, zumeist in goldfarbenem Kleid. (1120548) (11)

Bible scene according to the gospel of Saint John, where Jesus' words to Mary Magdalene after his resurrection are recorded as "Do not touch me" Composition and image concept are influenced by works of Antonio da Correggio (1489 - 1534) around 1518, and other masters. A similar concept can also be found ca. 1640 in works by Alonso Cano (1601 - 1667).
