Der Sohn des Künstlers Ercole Pignatelli '(1935) beschäftigt sich in seinen Werken mit der Beziehung der Kunstwerke zur Zeit. Dabei interessiert ihn die gleichzeitige Anwesenheit von Elementen unterschiedlichster Epochen auf seinen Werken.
Seit den 1990er Jahren stellt Pignatelli regelmäßig in internationalen Galerien und Musen aus, darunter im Palazzo Poli in Rom oder dem MAMAC in Nizza. (1081494) (12)
