In beiden Bildern dominiert im Zentrum jeweils eine ruinöse Burganlage mit Turm. Eines der Gemälde zeigt Vieh-treibende Hirten zwischen felsigem Gelände. Im Gegenstück Reiter auf einem Schimmel neben Reisigbündel-sammelnden Männern sowie einem halb bekleideten Mann mit Stock und rotem Velum unter einem Baum.
