Bedeutender Architekturprospekt
Aquarell und Tusche auf Karton.
Sichtmaß: 18 x 31,5 cm.
Rechts signiert „Celacewitsch, inv: 1845“.
Im Passepartout, hinter Glas gerahmt.
Palastgebäude mit Mittel- und Eckrisaliten, dreistöckig errichtet, Rundbogenfenster und Rustika-Erdgeschoss. Darüber Ziegelmauerwerk mit Lisenen. Im Vordergrund reiche Figurenstaffage des russischen Straßenlebens mit Kutschen, Fuhrwerken, Reitern, eleganten Paaren und zahlreichen Passanten und Handwerkern. Das Gebäude nicht unähnlich dem um 1850 errichteten sogenannten Kleinen Eremitagegebäudes in Sankt Petersburg. Durch die frühe Datierung des Blattes 1845 möglicherweise ein Vorentwurf. The building depicted is not dissimilar to the so-called Small Hermitage built in Saint Petersburg ca. 1850. The present drawing could be a preliminary sketch due to its early dating to 1845.
