Die vielfigurig angelegte Szenerie zeigt zahlreiche teils exotische Gebäude, darunter im Mittelgrund einen hohen schlanken Obelisken sowie Gebäude, die an Burgen und das Pantheon erinnern. Im Hintergrund links eine Ruine. Den Vordergrund dominieren zahlreiche Personen, die dem täglichen Leben nachgehen, darunter Bauern, die ihr Vieh treiben, eine junge Familie mit Musikern, zu deren Musik rechts ein Reigen getanzt wird. An der rechten Bildseite drei Orientalen, die dem Treiben zusehen. (1060631) (12)
