Der Künstler besuchte das Regio Istituto di Belle Arti in Modena, wo er sich auf das figürliche Gestalten konzentrierte. In den 1920er Jahren arbeitete er im Umkreis der Gruppe Novecento in Mailand und stellte erstmals auf der Biennale in Venedig aus. Reggiani gilt als einer der wichtigsten Vertreter der abstrakten und konkreten Kunst in Italien. COMPOSIZIONE, 1959 Öl auf Leinwand.
