Aufbau in Eiche, schwarzer Lack sowie polychrome und goldene Lackbemalung, vergoldete Bronzebeschläge. Die vier konischen Beine mit Rippen beschlagen, sodass sich Kanneluren formen, die Zarge gerade, in der Front mit drei Schubfächern, die sich durch einen Knopfdruckmechanismus öffnen lassen. Die Zarge in der Mitte mit Lackmalerei in Form von Chinoiserie-Szenen, flankiert von prächtigem Blattrollwerk und blütenbeschlagenen Applikationen. Die Tischplatte mit abgerundeten, eingezogenen Ecken und Bohrungen für Leuchter.
Der Mechanismus teilweise nicht funktionsfähig, die Leuchter nicht vorhanden. Besch., Verluste im Lack.
Anmerkung:
Das außergewöhnliche Möbel wurde von Arbeiten des aus Deutschland stammenden und in Frankreich arbeitenden Martin Carlin inspiriert. Möbel des berühmten Ebenisten befinden sich u. a. im Louvre. (1041756) (12)

Oak structure, black, polychrome and gold lacquer decoration; gilt-bronze fittings. The mechanism partially not working, candlestick mountings missing.
Damaged; blemishes to the lacquer.
