Je 26,5 x 19 cm. Im Hochoval.
Jeweils zu Pferd kämpfende Soldaten im Harnisch bzw. mit Turban, somit wohl im Zusammenhang der Türkenkriege entstanden. Eines der Bilder mit einem zu Boden gegangenen Schimmel, nahezu gestaltungsidentisch mit einem Detail aus dem großformatigen Gemälde "Die Schlacht bei Ramillies", entstanden zwischen 1706 und 1733, das sich im Mauritshuis, Den Haag, befindet. Das Gegenstück zeigt einen geharnischten christlichen Reiter, der mit einer Pistole auf einen arabischen Krieger schießt. (1042094) (11)
