Achttagegehwerk, Pendel mit Fadenaufhängung. Halbstunden- und Stundenschlossscheibenschlagwerk auf Glocke.
FUNKTIONEN
Stunden- und Minutenzeiger, vergoldete Bronze.
GEHÄUSE
Vergoldete Bronze, grauer und weißer, feiner Marmor. Die rechteckige Plinthe auf Scheibenfüßen, darauf der Obelisk, der an drei Seiten durch eine Kette vom Betrachter abgetrennt ist. Der Obelisk über rechteckigem Grundriss, mit fein dekorierter Frieszone im Sockel, Perlstäben sowie Aufsatz mit Globus. Über dem Zifferblatt eingelegte Applikation mit Allegorie des Erdkreises, mit zwei Frauen, der Erdkugel und einem darüber stehendem Amor.
ZIFFERBLATT
Emailzifferblatt mit arabischen Ziffern.
Das Mittelfeld bezeichnet „Schmit à Paris“.
