Aufbau in Eiche, Furnier in Palisander und teils farbig gebeizten und kontrastierenden weiteren Edelhölzern sowie Zedernholz. Auf hohen geschweiften Beinen, mit geschweifter Zarge, der geschweifte und bombierte Korpus zweischübig. Die Seitenflächen ebenfalls geschweift und bombiert, das Möbel sich wandseitig leicht weitend. Prächtige vergoldete Bronzebeschläge mit Rocaillen, C-Bögen und Blattwerk, die Sabots durchbrochen gearbeitet. Das Furnierbild mit geschweiften Kartuschen, diese bei den fest stehenden Zughenkeln marketiert mit graviertem und farbig gebeiztem Blütendekor. Die Abdeckplatte in Brech d´alep, den Schweifungen des Möbels folgend. Wohl originale Eisenschlösser. Rest., leichte Alterssp., Bruch in der Platte rest.

Repeatedly stamped on the upper apron.
France/ Paris, ca. 1740/50.
Structure in oak, rosewood veneer and partly stained in colour and contrasting with other precious woods and cedar wood. Iron locks probably original. Restored with minor signs of ageing; table top cracked and restored.
