Valerio Adami,
1935 Bologna, lebt und arbeitet in Monaco, Paris und Meina am Lago Maggiore
Der Maler und Zeichner gehört zu den wichtigsten Vertretern der zeitgenössischen, gegenständlichen Malerei Italiens. Bereits mit 16 Jahren wurde er an der Accademia di Brera in Mailand aufgenommen. Ermutigt von Roberto Matta (1911 - 2002) und Wifredo Lam (1902 - 1982) die er in Paris kennenlernte, entwickelte er einen eigenen Stil, der der Pop Art verpflichtet ist.
