Längsrechteckige Form, allseits in Rosenholz, dunklem Nusswurzelholz und Taxusholz furniert und hochglanzpoliert, mit Felder bildenden, zarten Messingbandeinlagen sowie am leicht vortretenden Sockelband aufliegendem Messinghalbrundstab. Die Füße ebenfalls in Messing. Der Deckel mit schräg stehender Hohlkehle, darauf beweglicher, geschweifter Tragehenkel in Messing. Im Inneren Nussbaumsichtholz, poliert, Einlegefach dreifach unterteilt. Beim Betätigen eines Knopfdruckes an der Oberseite der Wandung öffnet sich ein durch Federdruck herausspringendes Schiebefach, das im Sockel eingebaut ist und als Geheimfach dient. Schöner, geschweifter Schlüsselbeschlag. Schloss und Schlüssel original erhalten. Tadelloser Erhaltungszustand. (1022233) (11)

All sides veneered with tulipwood, dark walnut and yew. Highly polished with brass thread inlays. Beautiful curved lock fittings. Original lock and key. In pristine condition.
