Die beiden Gemälde als Gegenstücke gearbeitet. Demgemäß sind die kräftig roten Hummer in jedem der Gemälde nach rechts bzw. links gerichtet, in Zinnschale bzw. auf dem Steintisch. Die Früchte in Körben und Schalen, dazwischen Prunktazza mit Blumen gefüllt. Mit Wein gefüllte, venezianische Glaspokale heben sich vom dunklen Hintergrund ab. An den rechten Bildrändern jeweils Austernmuschel auf Samttuch bzw. Zinnschale. Die Malweise deutet auf den Einfluss der holländischen Stilllebenmalerei hin. Die Weichheit der Konturen vermittelt jedoch eindeutig die italienische Stilsprache. (1021618) (11)
