Aufbau in Tanne, weiß gefasst mit Resten einer Vergoldung sowie feiner Besatz in Klosterarbeit. Dreischübig. Das Möbelchen auf vier gedrehten Beinen. Der rechteckige Aufsatz in der Front konvex einziehend mit schräg liegender Pultklappe und seitlich eingezogenem Aufsatz. Das schräg liegende Pultfach jedoch nicht mit einer Klappe ausgestattet, sondern als Schubfach ausgebildet. Die Front und Seitenflächen in flachem Relief beschnitzt mit Blütenranken und Rahmen, akzentuiert mit Goldfassung. Das außergewöhnliche Kleinmöbel diente als Kassette für Walburgisöl.
Die Schreiner- und Schnitzarbeit wurde wohl in Dillingen gefertigt, bevor das Kleinmöbel in das Benediktinerinnenkloster St. Walburg in Eichstätt gebracht wurde, einem seit der Gotik bestehenden Zentrum für Textilkunst. Hier entstanden die in Goldstickerei auf Seide gearbeiteten Klosterarbeiten mit denen die drei unterschiedlich großen Schubfächer belegt sind.
In sehr schönem altersgemäßem Zustand, Vergoldung leicht berieben.

Structure in fir, painted in white with gilding remains and fine goldwork embroidery appliqués. In very fine age-appropriate condition, gilding slightly worn.
