Im Vordergrund zwei gesattelte Pferde mit daneben stehenden Reitern, dahinter auf einem braunen Pferd eine Frau im Damensitz. Links eine Gruppe von Bettelmusikanten mit Geige und Drehorgel sowie ein kleines, singendes Mädchen. Weiter hinten zwei Bauern mit einem Heuschubkarren, in der rechten unteren Ecke zwei spielende Hunde, die der Reitergesellschaft zuzuordnen sind.
