Sichtmaß: 17 x 20,5 cm.
Rechts unten signiert. In der Signatur ist u.a. der Namenszug „Kess“ erkennbar. Auf dem vergoldeten Rahmen graviertes Namensschild mit Aufschrift „van Kessel“.

Das Stück zeigt mehrere Land- und Wassertiere wie sie ursprünglich in Europa nicht vorkommen. So etwa das Meerschweinchenpaar im Vordergrund nahe eines Teichufers mit Enten, dahinter eine Python, die sich aus dem Blattwerk eines exotischen Strauches herausschlängelt sowie Truthähne im Hintergrund. Im Zentrum ein Schwan sowie ein herbeifliegender, fasanähnlicher Vogel. Im Hintergrund bergige Landschaft mit angedeuteten, weißen Gebäuden mit Flachdächern. (1012171)
