Die Figur in Leder gefertigt und ursprünglich als Zeitungsständer gedacht. Die Londoner Firma Liberty & Co. hatte als erste begonnen Fußschemel in Form von Tieren ab 1927 zu präsentieren, danach eigneten sich mehrere Firmen ab den 1960er Jahren diese Idee an und entwarfen tierische Möbel unterschiedlichster Formen.
