Vor einer grottenähnlichen Felsformation die sitzende Maria Magdalena, Hüfte und Beine lediglich mit einem großem, faltenreichem, dunkelblauem Tuch bedeckt. Ihr Blick ist leicht nach oben gerichtet, während über ihrem Haupt ein kleiner Kreis von geflügelten Putti schwebt. Am Boden in der unteren rechten Ecke zwei Bücher und ein Schädel, welche ich attributiv zugeordnet werden. Durch den grottenähnlichen Eingang fällt der Blick in eine weite Landschaft mit Gebäuden unter hohem hellblauem Himmel mit weißen Wolkenformationen. In der Malerei der Kunstgeschichte ein beliebtes Thema. (1321772) (18)
