Blick über den Canal Grande auf die Punta della Dogana, die sich an der Spitze der Insel Dorsoduro befindet. Am Anfang steht der Turm, an dessen Spitze die Skulptur der Erdkugel steht. Dahinter die bekannte Kirche Santa Maria della Salute mit ihren prächtigen hellen Kuppeln. Nach rechts verläuft der Canal Grande weiter, an dessen Seiten sich zahlreiche prächtige Bauten Venedigs befinden. Einige Boote und Gondeln haben jeweils am Ufer angelegt. Auf dem ruhigen Wasser sind zudem zahlreiche Spiegelungen der prachtvollen Gebäude und des hohen hellblauen Himmels mit weißen Wolken zu erkennen. Harmonische Malerei in weicher Farbgebung, die Stimmung eines Sommertages vermittelnd. (1271951) (18)
