Außergewöhnliche, kleine Louis XV-Coiffeuse mit Vernis Martin-Dekor, den Brüdern Martin nach einem Gemälde von François Eisen zug.

Korpus in Eichenholz, Vernis Martin und exotische Hölzer. In à jour gearbeiteten Bronzesabots stehende geschweifte Beine, den dreischübigen Korpus tragend. Dieser mit einer schubladenübergreifenden geschweiften Blattkartusche mit weißem Fond und Landschaft im niederländischen Stil mit Figurenstaffage, abschließende Akanthusblattbordüre. Eingelassene Kompartiments mit Scharnierdeckel und einem Scharnierspiegel sowie seitlichen Klappen, die in geschlossenem Zustand den Deckel mit einer ebenso geschweiften, wie weiß fondierten Kartusche präsentieren, mit niederländischer Landschaft und wiederum mit Figurenstaffage. Kein Schlüssel vorhanden. Seitliche Kartuschendekorationen.
Anmerkung:
Im 18. Jahrhundert waren derartige Möbel sehr selten und haben daher heute einen besonderen Seltenheitswert. Darüber hinaus hat das vorliegende Möbelstück sein ursprüngliches Vernis Martin-Dekor bewahrt und ist damit ein seltener Zeuge für die Mode der Verwendung flämischer Gemälde in der französischen dekorativen Kunst im 18. Jahrhundert. Ähnliche Gemälde von Eisen befinden sich im Nationalmuseum in Stockholm. (12618157) (13)
