Im Felsstück rückseitig die mitgegossene Signatur „A. Rodin“. Ohne erkennbaren Gießerstempel. In der Innenseite des Plinthensockels in Rot „452-3509“.
In Trauer versunkene Gestalt. In Haltung zusammen gesunken, der Kopf weit über die Knie herabgesenkt, der rechte Arm aufgestützt. Der quadratische Sockel mitgegossen. Seltene Gussausführung. Die Darstellung geht in der Dramatik und expressiven Aussage auf Auguste Rodins (1840-1917) „Denker“ zurück. Dunkle Patina. (1252002) (11)
