Hochformatige Darstellung mit nach links gewandter Sitzfigur des Heiligen Joseph, dessen Arm das unbekleidete Jesuskind trägt, in seiner einen Hand ein Kreuz im Hinblick auf seine Passion haltend, mit der anderen das Haupt seines Ziehvaters berührend.Â
Schüler von Antonio Zanchi (1631-1722) in Venedig, später von Carlo Maratti (1625-1713) in Rom beeinflusst, ferner von Guido Reni (1575-1642), Paolo Veronese (1528-1588) und Pietro da Cortona (1596-1669).
