Anmerkung:
Lambeaux, welcher auch „Jef“ oder „Jeph Lambeaux“ genannt wird, war Schüler von Jozef Germain Geefs (1808-1885). Er hielt sich drei Jahre in Paris auf, bevor er nach Florenz und Rom ging. 1880 nahm er an den Salons in Brüssel und Gent teil und gewann bei der Brüsseler Weltauststellung 1881 eine Goldmedaille. Seine Werke sind in vielen Museen zu finden, wie in Antwerpen, Brüssel, Bukarest, Gent und Liège. (12200328) (13)
