Großformatige retrospektive Darstellung des Ereignisses im Inneren der Kathedrale, gefüllt mit einer Menschenmenge, darunter helebardentragende Soldaten im Harnisch, Fahnenträger und Hofrepräsentanten. Im Zentrum, auf rot ausgelegten Stufen, erhöht, Heinrich VIII neben einem Bischof, ihm zur Seite sitzend, die Gemahlin Katharina wiedergegeben. Detailgenaue Wiedergabe der Innenarchitektur mit gotischen Gewölberippen, Altären und Tabernakeln. Stimmungsvolle Lichtführung durch die Buntfenster.
