Der Bildhauer lebte von 1907 bis 1914 in Paris, wurde dort von Émile Antoine Bourdelle (1861 – 1929) und Hans Zatzka (1859 – 1945) beeinflusst. 1911 eigene Ausstellung in der Bernheim Jeune, kehrte nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg nach Italien zurück.
Die Bronzefigur impressionistisch aufgefasst, das Kleid glockenförmig in zahlreiche gerundete Falten gelegt, eng tailliert, das Haar hochgesteckt. Mit beiden Händen umfasst sie einen Ball, den sie an das Gesicht hält. Bronzeguss mit schöner dunkler Patina. (1180134) (7) (11)
