Auf blauen Unterkarton aufgelegt, verglast und gerahmt.
Die biblische Geschichte aus dem Buch Exodus in dramatischem Bildaufbau vorgeführt, die Gestalten vor betont schattigen Hintergrundpartien in starkem Hell-Dunkel aufleuchtend. Links Moses mit einem Stab sowie mit den Strahlen über seinem Haupt hell erleuchtet, auf einen Wasserfall deutend, der sich vom Felsen löst. Davor in diagonaler Komposition nach rechts ansteigend sitzende und nach rechts hin stehende weibliche Personen mit Kindern, die dabei sind, die Krüge zu füllen. Dahinter im Schatten stehende, kannelierte Säulen. (99031119) (11)
