Doppelfigurige Statuette mit Darstellung der Szene aus dem Gleichnis des Neuen Testaments. Rundplastisch in Elfenbein geschnitzt, auf mitgearbeiteter, achteckiger Plinthe. Weiche Modelierung der bis zum Boden geführten Wandung des bärtigen Vaters sowie glatte Oberflächenbehandlung der nackten Körperpartien des Kindes, besonders die sich begegnenden Blicke vorgeführt.
