Verso auf der Bodenplatte signiert und datiert "Lewin-Funcke 06".
Deutschland, 1906.
Bronze, schwarzbraun patiniert. Die Skulptur steht auf einem hohen, zylindrischen Sockel aus dunkelgrauem Marmor. Die junge weibliche Aktfigur beugt sich im Stand zum rechten Bein hinab und ist dabei, sich eine hoch geschnürte Sandale zu binden. Dazu hat sie das von einer kleinen Plinthe unterstützte Bein leicht angewinkelt. Am Standbein trägt sie noch keine Sandale. Das zu einem Knoten am Hinterkopf gebundene Haar enthüllt die elegante Linie, die vom Nacken den Rücken herunterläuft.
Anmerkung:
Mit diesem Entwurf gewann der Künstler 1906 die Goldmedaille.
