Großer, tief gemuldeter Teller. Den Rand umläuft ein feines Band mit Eierstabdekor. Die Fahne und Wandung sind verziert mit feinem Grotesken-Dekor mit Fabel- und Mischwesen sowie auf der Wandung mit Vögeln. Im Zentrum des Spiegels ist ein kleiner Amorknabe mit Siegeskränzen vor orangerotem Hintergrund zu sehen. In der Ferne weit hinter ihm erheben sich bläuliche Berge. Bemalung in Rot, Orange, Blau, Schwarz und Gelb. Haarriss und ein Chip.

Drei Etiketten umseitig, davon eines mit der Aufschrift "Accademia Raffaello/Maioliche Rinascimentali/Dello Stato di Urbino/1987/No. 57".

Maiolica dish from the Patanazzi workshop
Diameter; 30.5 cm.
Height: 5.5 cm.
Urbino, end of the 16th century.
Large, deep dish. Rim decorated with a fine band of egg-and-dart ornamentation. The border and the sides are decorated with delicate grotesque, chimera and hybrid creatures as well as birds. The centre features a small cupid holding Victor's laurels against a tangerine background. In the distant background are blue-tinted mountains. Painted in red, orange, blue, black and yellow. Hairline crack and chip.
