Silber, getrieben, gegossen, graviert, punziert, vergoldet. Über breitem Standring Profilfuß mit Knorpelwerk, stilisierte Delfinköpfe darstellend und mit abschließenden, verstärkenden Profilringen. Zylindrischer Korpus mit in Hoch- und Flachrelief getriebener Darstellung der Venus, von Nereiden und Neptun umgeben. Mündung durch Profilring verstärkt, der in den vergoldeten Innenzylinder hinabführt. Massiver Knorpelwerk-S-Henkel mit Maskaron und Haubenscharniersteckdeckel mit stilisierten Delfinköpfen und massivem Flammenknauf. Kleinere Fehlstellen.

Die Schenkung der Stadt Lübeck an Sir William Morice of Warrington (1602 - 1672) beinhaltete auch einen Silberteller des Hamburger Goldschmieds Hans Lambrecht III (Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg). Laut Erich Schliemann, Herausgeber des Standard-Werks "Die Goldschmiede Hamburgs", ist die Entstehung des Humpens im Norden, jedoch nicht nördlich der Elbe zu suchen.
