Leopold Schmutzler 1864 Nies/Böhmen - 1941 München
JUNGE FRAU IM LEHNSTUHL BEI DER BRIEFLEKTÜRE Junge Dame mit rötlichem, hochgestecktem Haar und seitlich herabfallenden Locken mit angezogenen Knien in einer Bergère sitzend. Sie trägt einen perlmuttfarbenen Seidenrock und eine rote, über die Schultern herabfallende Bluse, am Arm ein feiner Goldreif. Der ausdrucksvolle, sprechende Blick gilt dem Betrachter. Das Gemälde von ausgesprochen kühner Farbeleganz. Das Kupferrot des Haares steht im Einklang mit dem leuchtend rotem Farbton der Bluse und dem rot gestreiften Polster des Stuhles. Komplementär dazu eine bewusste Verwendung von Blau im Hintergrund. Öl/ Malkarton. 100 x 69,5 cm. Rechts oben sign. (5502014)
