Bronzeskulptur Nessus raubt Dejanira, Francesco Fanelli (tätig 1608-1665, Florenz), zugeschrieben.
Der pferdeleibige Nessus ist im Begriff, die nackt widergegebene Dejanira zu rauben, die er in abwehrender Haltung in seinen Armen festhält. Der Pferdekörper steigend widergegeben, die Vorderhufe parallel gestellt, steht auf den Hinterhufen. Das Gesicht des Centauren ist in der üblichen Weise des 17.Jhdts. faunsartig widergegeben. Die Bronzegruppe in schönem, altem Guss auf braun-rot-weiß geädertem Marmorsockel. Alt montiert. H.: 27 cm. L.: 20 cm. 17.Jhdt.
