(†) (1341341) (11)

VENICE VEDUTA WITH VIEW OF THE CAMPO SAN VIO ACROSS THE GRAND CANAL
Oil on canvas.
73 x 101 cm.
Accompanied by an expert’s report by Dario Succi, Gorizia.
The artist first came to attention in 1994, when 13 paintings held at the collection of the Langmatt Foundation in Baden-Baden were recognized as apparently by the same painter’s hand. The identification as Apollonio Facchinetti was made possible by uncovering this artist’s name on the back of one of the paintings. (†)
