Große Platte mit flachem Spiegel und breiter Fahne. Der Spiegel in Blau, Grün und Gelb bemalt; im Zentrum ein Wappen im in der italienischen Heraldik üblichen Rossstirnschild, das blau-gelb umrandet und zweigeteilt ist. Das Wappen zeigt eine Zypresse mit drei Wurzeln auf milchweißem Grund, darüber im oberen Drittel drei Sterne auf blauem Grund. Das Wappen ist beidseitig von Bandwerk und Zweigen mit kleinen Blüten umgeben. Die Fahne „bianco sopra bianco“ milch-weiß mit vier Reihen Dekormuster bemalt, die Rückseite milchweiß glasiert. Craquelé, geringfügige Glasurabplatzungen am Rand.
Anmerkungen:
Eine fast gleich große Platte (43,5 cm) „bianco sopra bianco“ mit demselben Wappen befindet sich im Museo Nazionale Del Bargello in Florenz, Inv. maioliche n. 114 (Carola Fiocca, Gabriella Gherardi: Ceramiche di Deruta secoli XV-XVI. Museo Nazionale Del Bargello, Heft 21, Florenz 1990, S. 42, Nr. 23).
Der attraktive „bianco sopra bianco“ Dekor wurde im 16. Jahrhundert erst in Urbino und Faenza praktiziert und verbreitete sich später auch außerhalb Italiens, z. B. nach Delft. Er wurde im 18. Jahrhundert sogar in England, Frankreich und Skandinavien übernommen. (1301963) (10)
