(1261744) (18)

Notes:
The painting is based on a work by Guido Reni, which is held at the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Antica in Rome at the Palazzo Barberini and dates to ca. 1610-1615. In contrast to the painting on offer for sale here, Mary Magdalene is here not shown in three-quarter length but as a full-length portrait. The painting in Rome also features the addition of a small standing crucifix in the lower right margin.
