Holz geschnitzt und vergoldet. Die vier Stühle auf gestelzten Rollwerkbeinen stehend. Die Beine mit Voluten an die Wellenzarge ansetzend, aus welcher gedrehte gepolsterte Armlehnen erwachsen. Diese ansetzend an die trapezförmige Rückenlehne mit geschnitzter vegetabiler Zier. Feine hohe Seidenpolsterung in hellem Blau mit roten Blüten wie bei Kjellberg ersichtlich.

Wohl Sammlung Jean Lupu, Paris.
Anmerkung:
Nicolas Heurtaut (1720-1771) war Maître menuisier. Er entwarf zahlreiche Möbel für das französische Königshaus und die Bourgeoisie. Werke seiner Hand können heute im J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, im Metropolitan Museum of Art und in der Frick Collection in New York City bewundert werden.

Notes:
Nicolas Heurtaut (1720-1771) was Maître menuisier. He designed numerous pieces of furniture for the French royal court and the bourgeoisie. His works can today be admired at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Frick Collection in New York City.
