Die Darstellung der Skulptur mit den ausgebreiteten Armen und dem wehenden Gewand betont das Schweben Gottvaters im Himmel. Original Fassung restauratorisch ergänzt.
Anmerkung:
Der Barockbildhauer erwarb 1678 das Meister- und Bürgerrecht Augsburg. 1701/02 und 1706/07 war er Vorsteher und 1715 Kornpropst der Bildhauerzunft. Sein größter Auftrag als Bildhauer waren sechs Pfeilerfiguren für die Stadtkirche von Kloster St. Georg in Augsburg. (1030401) (18)
