In vergoldetem, nach oben hin seitlich hervorspringendem Rahmen mit Blütenfeston und Schleifendekor mit rückwärtigem Etikett des Rahmenherstellers „J. Lorne & A. Haan“.

Kniestück einer sitzenden Dame nach links gewandt in lindgrünem Kleid mit weißem transluzidem Überstoff und Rüschenbesatz. In ihrer Hand eine Blüte, ihren schlanken Hals eine Kette zierend. Rest.
Anmerkung:
Der in Livorno geborene Corcos wurde von Domenico Morelli (1823-1901) beeinflusst, dessen Schüler er 1878-1879 war. In Paris lernte er Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) und Léon Joseph Florentin Bonnat (1833-1922) kennen, dessen Malstil von Frauenportraits ihn inspirierte. Unter anderem schuf er Portraits auch von Kaiser Wilhelm II und seiner Frau (1904), sowie der Amélie von Orléans (Königin von Portugal) und Margaritha von Savoyen (Königin von Italien). Notes:
Corcos was born in Livorno and was influenced by Domenico Morelli (1823-1901) who was his teacher in (1878-1879). He met Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) and Léon Joseph Florentin Bonnat (1833-1922) in Paris, whose painting style of female portraits influenced his works. Among others he also created portraits of Emperor William II and his wife (1904), and of Amélie of Orléans (Queen consort of Portugal) and Margherita of Savoy (Queen of Italy).
