Porzellan mit Weißglasur, in Art eines Schiffchens muschelförmig längsgezogen, auf wellig vortretendem Fuß. Henkel in Form eines Delfins, dessen großer, fein gearbeiteter Kopf an der Muschelvolute anliegt, der Schwanz läuft blattförmig aus.
Als Nymphenburger Modellmeister war Auliczek 1765 Nachfolger des Franz Anton Bustelli, wurde 1773 Inspektor und 1772 Hofbildhauer von Kurfürst Max Joseph III, bekannt auch durch seine Parkfiguren in Nymphenburg. Studierte zunächst in Wien, Paris, London und Rom; von Papst Clemens mit dem 1. Preis der Akademie ausgezeichnet, ab 1762 in München.
Diese äußerst seltene Saucière, möglicherweise Unikat, steht im Zusammenhang mit den Figuren für die Hoftafel des Kurfürsten, wozu u. a. auch ein „Triton als Wasserlenker“, „Triton mit Muschelhorn“ oder die „Wasserrösser“ gehörten. Minimaler Chip am Fuß. (1381847) (11)
