Vor beige-grauem Hintergrund auf einer sandigen Fläche nach links stehend ein gesattelter prachtvoller Brauner. Für den Künstler typische Pferdedarstellung, jedoch werden diese meistens in Landschaft mit Reitern gezeigt.
Provenienz:
Aus der Familie von Kommerzienrat Brennecke, Generaldirektor der Glashütte „Hermannsdorf“ in Pirna an der Elbe. Herr Brennecke war Gast am Stammtisch im Hotel Feldhütter in Prien am Chiemsee, wo auch Roubaud verkehrte und seinem Freund Brennecke diese Gemälde schenkte. (1391221) (18)
