Blick von erhöhtem Standpunkt auf den türkis-blau schimmernden Canal Grande, auf dem gerade eine Gondel zu sehen ist, auf eine kleinere Brücke und auf links und rechts davon flankierende Gebäude. Auf der linken Seite ist die Basilika San Pietro di Castello zu erkennen mit dem hohen Glockenturm. Am linken Ufer sind zudem einige ankernde Segelboote mit Figuren zu sehen. Stimmungsvolle Malerei, bei der sich Boote und Gebäude teilweise im Wasser wiederspiegeln, unter hohem sommerlichen hellblauen Himmel. Kleinere Rahmenschäden. (1241506) (18)
