Auf einem zentral vorspringenden Steinprofil steht in eine Nische gesetzt eine Balustervase mit zahlreichen überreifen Blumen wie Schneeball, Wicken und geflammten Tulpen.
Der Künstler war Schüler J. Beichs in München. Nach Aufenthalt in Nürnberg war er seit mindestens 1732 ansässig in Augsburg. Den Hauptteil seines Schaffens machen seine Landschaftsgemälde aus, teils mit figuraler Staffierung.
