In einem Innenraum vor beigem Hintergrund eine junge Frau an einem Tisch sitzend, in ihrer rechten Hand ein kleines Pfeifchen haltend. Ihren linken Arm hat sie auf der Tischplatte abgestützt und scheint mit ihrem Zeigefinger einen hinter ihr stehenden Mann zu necken, der seine kräftige rechte Hand auf ihre Schulter gelegt hat und mit glänzenden Augen und leicht geöffnetem Mund aus dem Bild auf den Betrachter hinausschaut.
Anmerkung:
Wulfraet war Schüler des Abraham Diepraam (1622-1670). Als er in Arnheim erfolgreich wurde zog er nach Amsterdam, wo er erfolgreich historische Allegorien und fröhliche Gesellschaften malte. (13916948) (18)
