Vor braungoldenem Grund das nach links gewandte Halbportrait des Malers Anthony van Dyck, der über seine Schulter blickt und mit einer breitgliederigen Kette geschmückt ist. 1633 erhielt Anthonis van Dyck diese goldene Amtskette des königlichen Hofmalers, die einen Wert von £ 110 hatte. Rahmen rest.
Anmerkung:
Das hier angebotene Gemälde ist nach dem reizvollen Werk van Dycks enstanden, das unter der Inventarnummer 664 in den Uffizien in Florenz verwahrt wird. Dieses misst 79 x 62 cm und ist ca. 1632 enstanden.
