Bronze, gegossen, ziseliert und vergoldet, Onyx geschliffen. Über rundem Profilfuß der auf Spangen mit Widderfüßen und -köpfen ruhende Korpus. Die Korpusmündung à jour gearbeitet mit Rankenwerk. Steckdeckel mit zentralem fruktalen Knauf. Der Onyx, der 1849 in Algerien durch einen Franzosen wiederentdeckt worden ist, war in der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts in Frankreich entsprechend begehrt und wurde gern zu solchen Luxusobjekten verarbeitet. Montierung partiell minimal locker. (1390975) (13)
