Wir danken Dr. Fred Meijer, der das Monogramm JF einem Maler aus Den Haag zuschreibt, Johannes Flups.
Das Monogram JHB, welches dem Maler Horatius Bollongier (1601-1660) zugeordnet werden könnte, bestand wohl im Original nur aus den beiden Monnogrammen JF und wurde dann geändert in JHB.
Vor einfachem graubraunen Hintergrund auf einem Bord stehend eine bauchige Glasvase, darin das sorgsam arrangierte Blumenbouquet bestehend unter anderem aus leuchtenden zweifarbigen Tulpen, Rosen sowie einer Schachbrettblume, einer roten Lilie und diversen Kleinblütlern. Am unteren Rand der Platte sitzend ein kleiner Schmetterling, der die Komposition belebt. (13916021) (1) (18)
